Trust Badges Section
Configuring the Trust Badges Section
Trust Badges are the small promises that turn a hesitant first-time visitor into a buyer: Cash on Delivery, Fast Delivery, Satisfaction Guaranteed. On a COD store where customers are committing to receive a package and pay in cash, these reassurances often matter more than the product photo itself. Yaxii COD ships with a pre-designed Trust Badges section — a clean row of icons with short labels — that you place into your homepage layout once and never have to think about again.
How the Trust Badges section is different
Unlike other homepage sections, the Trust Badges section has no per-section configuration. The badges themselves — the icons, the labels, the descriptive copy — are pre-designed to match your brand colors and typography automatically. Your job is simply to decide whether the section should appear on the homepage and where in the order it sits.
Two switches control whether Trust Badges show
| Switch | Where to find it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Global “Show Trust Badges” | Yaxii COD > Settings > General | The master switch. When off, the Trust Badges section is hidden on the storefront even if it is in the homepage layout. |
| Section enabled toggle | Yaxii COD > Settings > Homepage Layout | The per-section toggle on the Trust Badges card. Hides the section on the homepage while keeping it in the layout list. |
For the section to appear on the storefront, both switches must be on. Use the global switch when you want to hide trust badges across every page they might ever appear; use the per-section toggle when you only want to temporarily reorder or A/B-test the homepage layout.

Adding Trust Badges to the homepage
- 1Open the Homepage BuilderGo to Yaxii COD > Settings > Homepage Layout.
- 2Check if Trust Badges is already thereOn a fresh install, a Trust Badges section is already in the layout by default, sitting right under the Hero Slider.
- 3Add the section if missingIf you previously removed it, click Add Section at the bottom of the list and choose Trust Badges.
- 4Drag it into positionUse the drag handle on the section card to move Trust Badges where you want it. The most common placement is directly below the Hero Slider so the reassurance hits before customers start browsing.
- 5Make sure both switches are onConfirm the section’s enabled toggle is on in the Homepage Layout, and confirm “Show Trust Badges” is on in the General tab.
- 6Save SettingsClick Save Settings. The Trust Badges row appears on the homepage.
What the badges communicate
| Badge | Message |
|---|---|
| Cash on Delivery | Reassures customers that they only pay when the package arrives — the single biggest objection in COD-driven markets, addressed first. |
| Fast Delivery | Signals that the store ships across all 58 Algerian wilayas and delivers quickly — important for customers outside the major cities. |
| Satisfaction Guaranteed | Conveys a return or exchange window, lowering the perceived risk of trying a new store. |
