Before You Install: System Requirements
Yaxii COD is built to run fast on basic shared hosting — no Elementor, no Woodmart, no heavyweight page builder dragging your store down. Before you begin, spend two minutes confirming that your server meets the requirements below. A clean environment means a smooth install; mismatched versions are the single most common cause of a broken first setup.
Minimum Requirements

What You Do NOT Need
Unlike most WooCommerce themes on the market, Yaxii COD ships with everything built in. You do not need any of the following:
- Elementor, WPBakery, or any other page builder plugin
- A separate COD order-form plugin
- A separate shipping zones plugin for Algerian wilayas
- A premium caching plugin — the theme manages its own front-page caching
Checking Your PHP Version
In your WordPress dashboard, go to Tools > Site Health > Info > Server. The PHP version is listed there. If your host is running PHP 7.3 or lower, contact your hosting provider and ask them to upgrade the PHP version for your account — it is a free change on virtually all shared hosting plans.
Hosting Recommendations
Yaxii COD is engineered to perform on basic shared hosting. It removes over 20 unnecessary WordPress and WooCommerce scripts on every page load and defers all remaining scripts to prevent render-blocking. Any cPanel-based host meeting the requirements above will perform well. Dedicated cloud hosting is not required.
