Visual Product Swatches

The Problem This Solves

Standard WooCommerce dropdowns for selecting size or color are awkward on mobile and slow down purchase decisions. This guide shows how to replace those lists with large, tappable visual buttons — and how to tune quantity limits and info messages on a per-product basis.

Activating Visual Swatches

Once your Business-tier license is active, visual swatches are automatically enabled for all variable products in your store. No product-by-product activation is needed for the basic behavior.

To control this globally, go to Yaxii Smart Form > Form Settings, open the Behavior tab, and find the Product Variations section.

What Your Customer Sees

With visual swatches enabled, your product attributes (color, size, material…) appear as tappable buttons directly inside the order form.

Customizing Settings Per Product

Each WooCommerce product can have its own quantity rules and its own form message, independently of global settings.

  1. 1
    Open the Product Edit Page
In WordPress, go to Products > All Products, then click the product you want to customize to open its edit screen.
  2. 2
Find the Yaxii Smart Form Panel
Scroll down to the bottom of the product edit page until you see the Yaxii Smart Form — Form Settings panel. It appears below the product description area.

  3. 3
    Set Per-Product Quantity Limits
Enter a Minimum Quantity and a Maximum Quantity per order for this product. These values override the global quantity settings defined in the plugin preferences.
  4. 4
Add a Custom Message for This Product
Toggle Override Global Banner and type a product-specific message (e.g., “Express delivery available in 24h for this item”). Choose an icon and accent color for this banner.

  5. 5
    Update the Product
Click Update in the top-right of the product edit page to save all changes.
